I
thank the exhibitors for this good entry, both in numbers and in quality, quite
exceptional in some classes. I found two breed points that need watching.
First, there were one or two exhibits with lack of stop and indentation between
the eyes. Secondly, a similar number had over-prominent eyes. Nevertheless, the
general standard was very good and most pleasing.

1st: Mrs S F WHITE Kervaig Picador. 81/2 years with good head and full red coat.
I remember him competing with my dog against him in his prime. He looked good
then, and still does.
MPD (7,2)
1st: Mrs M SHOPLAND Cherrycrack Fools Gold. 8 months old with good outline and
balance. A steady and confident showman. Good reach of neck, coat and tail
carriage. Moved adequately. BPD
2nd: Mrs S KINTON Woodthorpe The Gambling Man NAF. Another red boy two month
younger. Higher on the leg than No1. Good proportions and moved soundly.

3rd: Mrs M BENNETT Maximal Don't Stop

1st:; Mrs P BAMBRIDGE Carradine Master Guy for Luvemal NAF.10 months
grey/wheaten brindle. Good head, eyes and ears. He seemed to find the floor
slippery which inevitably affected his movement.
2nd: Mrs K EVANS Birselaw Billy The Kid of Kapplegill NAF TAF. 11 months light
red. Soundly made and typical but lacking confidence today.

1st: Mrs J G PARKER-TUCKER Uniquecottage Rusty Leaf. A cream wheaten in
particularly good hard coat. Good neck, shoulders and well-ribbed body. Good
head and moved well.
2nd: Mr & Mrs G S PEERS Tweedisle Chasing Vikings. Light red with very good
outline and proportions. Head satifactory, good body and coat. Could have been
higher but moved a bit close in front on this floor.
3rd: Mrs M CROSBY Tolimaura Chace

1st: Mr F J & Mrs C A CONFUE Anjofra Bang on the Door. Pleasing bright red
with good head, eyes, ears, neck and coat. Pleasing body length, proportions,
tail placement and carriage. A little extra maturity and he could be pressing
for top honours.
2nd: Mr R H & Mrs B D BIRCH Kinkim Wattluq. Very attractive wheaten brindle
with particularly good head, eyes and ear placement. In good hard coat and with
god outline. No1 shaded placings with very good movent
3rd: Mr & Mrs J T P ROBERTS
Cannwood Augurey. Good one with good cream wheaten coat who can easily win on
other occasions.

Not a big class but I cannot recall a better Limit dog
class with quality throughout from first to last.
1st: Mrs S BRAYBROOK Cloverbrook Loaded Dice. Dark grey brindle of the kind
that appeals to me, has a good head, eyes, ears, profile and size. With great
balance, he shows confidently and moves well. RDCC
2nd: Mrs G A WARD Vanajam Halloween. Light red with very little separating him
from No1. Good head, eyes, reach of neck, body, coat and proportions.
3rd: Mrs S J WEINBERGER Correnie
Altissimo. Close-up as were Nos 4, 5 & 6. The finest distinctions had to be
made in order to determine placings.

Another
quality class.
1st: Miss Y CATTO Ch Birselaw Billy Fury. After judging Limit, I did not expect
to find one to beat its winner- But I did in this class. DCC & BOB. A
Wheaten brindle with good head, dark mask and points. Good body, coat and
proportions. Showed steadily without faltering. I thought his movement
outstanding.
2nd: Mrs J G PARKER-TUCKER Uniquecottage Tidy Shoes Dark grey brindle with
good head and ears, coat proportions. Produced and handled as one expects from
this owner. I thought No1’s movement slightly superior.
3rd: Mr R H & Mrs B D BIRCH Kinkim

1st: Mrs S E DOLAN Glenrood Magic Solitaire. Very promising dark grey brindle.
Good head, eyes and ears, reach of neck and profile. Moved soundly.
2nd: Mrs S KINTON Woodthorpe Luck Be a Lady NAF. 6 months copper brindle.
Remarks for No1 applicable to this one also, but not so mature.
3rd: Mrs M SHOPLAND Cherrycrack Chasing Aimee. Litter sister to BPD and very
like him except in colour.

1st: Mrs E B & Mr I L B SHAW
Honeyhall Hijinx. 10 months strikingly similar to BOB winner who is her sire.
Most remarks about him are applicable to her. BP
2nd: Mrs V CARTER Tarcret Silver Star. 11 months wheaten brindle. Good
head, nice size and typical. It took BP to beat her

strong class with a number of future winners amongst the unplaced.
1st: Miss M ROBINSON, Mrs G & MORTIMER Cruzo Carolyn. Red brindle free of
any exaggeration. Good head, ears, reach of neck and movement. Good size for
age.
2nd:
Mrs S J WEINBERGER Correnie Keep Shining. A grey with good outline, reach of
neck, tail carriage and movement. Shows with confidence.
3rd: Mr J POLLOCK Stanedykes Diva
NB (3,0)
1st: Mrs C GRAINGER Oudenarde Buffy's
Angel. Dark grey brindle considered for RCC. She has a good head, ears. Coat
and balance, together with sound movement.
2nd: Mrs M MIDDLEHURST Starveren Chance To Dream. She has very good head and
ears, a particularlt good coat and was close up to No1
3rd: Mr J W & Mrs M E DOWLING Honeyhall Hijump

Another good competitive class.
1st: Mrs D H HARRISON, Mrs R A & FORMOSA
Spawyche Forever Amber At Carradine. A strongly made red with a very good head,
neck, shoulders, coat and movement.
2nd: Mrs W V MOSELEY Spawyche Elizabethan Pearl. Wheaten of good type. Moved
well and impressed with her all-round soundness, type and balance.
3rd: Mr & Mrs P BROWN Bencana Magic

Treat. Wheaten at the peak of her form. She has a very good head, neck and
shoulders. Good balance of body length to height, shown well. Moved
satisfactorily. RCC
2nd: Mrs S E DOLAN Glenrood Forever Beauty. Wheaten with good head, neck,
body, coat and movement.
3rd:Mr & Mrs A FIRTH & Mrs G JONES Cairngold Charcoal. Dark
grey that I thought at one time would be the winner but I found the movement of
those above her was slightly better today.

1st: Mrs A WAUGH Ch Andrum Carlotta.
Grey brindle with good front, coat and movement. If you want to see a good
typical female head, have a look at this one- But her virtues do not end there.

2nd: Mrs S E DOLAN Ch Rossarden Glenmoira. Dark grey brindle with good head and
particularly good reach of neck and coat. Quality balance and proportions.
3rd: Mrs B PHILLIPS Sarachelle Just
Daisy at Jaeva. Dark grey brindle of good all-round quality.
